Last year comedian / magician, Donovan Deschner, & I ripped up some film with Kaboom Hooray! Comedy. Today, Swerve Magazine tossed up the vid & called Kaboom “Thing #2” on the list of five to do in Calgary this week.

I told the parking lot attendant at the Saddledome his office had the nicest view in the city. I think the only guy who could raise a bone of contention would be the homeless guy who sleeps outside the Simmons building by the river in the East Village.
OPEN FILE’s community-powered journalists were on site in the East Village for Breathe Parkour Magazine’s pre-show pump up performance for PKN 9.
I believe the BPK crew was taking the opportunity to explore every possible angle and perspective by which to enjoy the newly opened and beautiful RiverWalk.

Magnetic North Theatre Fest in YYC!
Arguably Canada’s premier theatre fest…and it’s coming to Calgary in 2012.
After graduating from McGill two years ago, some buddies and I biked from Montreal to Ottawa just to see this fest. I’m glad this time the ride will be a little easier.
